Mission:

Lead Nike Russia Import, Distribution and Local DC teams to build and manage Supply Chain processes that balance the customer service level, inventory and cost in the most efficient way. Work with the relevant teams to transform Supply Chain into a sustainable competitive advantage across all EMEA business units, countries and categories, develop Supply Chain strategy, ERP systems and local applications to maintain the processes in the most efficient way.
Responsibilities:
Lead country import operations, work out strategy for supply chain enhancements to support business growth, provide guidelines to the Import group to achieve efficient and timely delivery of international shipments to Russia:

• Develop and maintain import business processes to support international shipments for NIKE Russia: in line shipments, samples of seasonal collections, fixtures and POSM, sports marketing goods, occasional cargoes, provide guidelines to the import team. Create, review, guide, & approve import departmental business plans, objectives, coach Import team.
• Create and control the company budget for the import related activities such as customs payments, freight forwarding, customs brokerage, products certification.
• Develop the strategy for import operations for Russia, lead and implement the new import processes (DRS, regionalization, border crossing, IT enhancements).
• Provide leadership to the Russian Supply Chain team and provide internal and external consulting, ensure that import operations done according to the Russian legislation.
• Establish and constantly improve communication flows between all involved parties to support effective import operations.
• Organize and conduct tenders to choose the best providers, control the contracts creation and maintenance with suppliers, customs agents, transport companies and terminals, establish system of KPI to control their performance, build effective work relationships with state authorities and the partners.
• Develop and implement the strategy for the products registration in Russia: Certificates of conformity, Hygiene Certificates, other permissions of government structures which are required by Russian laws.
• Lead implementation of the Simplified Customs clearance project for Nike Russia thus achieving import lead time reduction and cost savings, leverage the other best practices in the import area .
• Lead SC projects implementations to enhance Supply Chain model (Direct Shipments, VAS , EDI links for KA,) from Nike Russia side, leverage best SC practices to initiate the new projects.

Establish a framework, performance goals & priorities for the Distribution team with a clear customer focus achieving high standards of warehousing and outbound distribution processes:

• Give direction and steer high quality standards and process excellence in the Distribution team to improve the warehousing, delivery and pick up processes at Russian Hub to reduce inventory level and ensure faster delivery to customers.
• Develop the future warehousing and distribution model in Russia.
• Lead and develop Nike Local DC project to support Prop sales and Reverse logistics processes, set up requirements, create business processes, identify the gaps, find workarounds to support on-going operations and influence the project team to implement sustainable long term solutions.
• Create and control the company budget for the warehousing services, local distribution, labeling and other distribution-related activities.
• Organize and conduct the tenders, create and maintain the contracts with 3PL, establish system of KPI to control their performance, build effective work relationships.
• Optimize Russian Hub capacity planning to provide stable and reliable operations and ensure that the model is cost-effective.
• Develop and implement the strategy for the products labels production and distribution to the Russian customers.
• Connect with Sales, Sales Operations, Retail, Customers Service teams and customers and countries and EHQ to understand their needs and translate their needs into our day to day work, procedures and processes.
• Develop deliveries to the Russian regions based upon analysis of revenues distributions, business needs and costs, thus achieving the most effective delivery/pick up balance.

Provide leadership and support to ensure successful implementation of large, strategic, complex and x-functional projects to improve Nike Supply Chain in Russia:

• Cooperate with stakeholder functions (Sales, Retail, BU, Finance, BU), lead where relevant, to define the requirements to meet future growth, improve customer satisfaction and optimize operational efficiencies.
• Lead ERP system implementation in Russia (modules IM, MM, S&D, Purchasing) as As Business owner of logistics processes, provide clear requirements to the WHQ IT, EHQ ITand Nike CSC Laakdal teams, assess the proposed solutions, test and support training process and go-live.
• Lead on-going SAP testing (SIT, WIL) to support new releases.
• Continuously analyze Supply Chain facts and figures, translate data into relevant information to create awareness on the effects of current business practices to relevant departments and feed/build the S&OP platform for integration & growth.
• Lead SC projects implementations to enhance Supply Chain model (Direct Shipments, POSM handling, Region Hubs, VAS , EDI links for KA,) from Nike Russia side, leverage best SC practices to initiate the new projects.
• Provide guidelines to the Country Safety Coordinators to support safety- and quality- related activities, work with Risk management and Insurance companies if required, work on the project of establishing new standards, lobby simplification of the safety and quality legislation in Russia.

Lead and Manage Customer Service & Account Operations:

• Support business growth with efficient CS operations and ensure close customer connection
• Create and implement a qualitative customer service orientated strategy and environment ensuring pro-active efficient customer service. Ensure business processes and business rules are defined and understood by both the internal and external customers at all times.
• Manage customer service levels effectively through key performance metrics thereby ensuring effective business integration and reporting mechanisms.
• Maintain close contact with the central CS organization and ensure the use of standard processes, systems and operating model.
• Account Operations : Together with Key Account Sales management - develop relationships with Logistics counterparts within Key Accounts organizations – to jointly develop win-win solutions. (ii) Lead SC projects implementations with Accounts to enhance Supply Chain model (Direct Shipments, VAS , EDI links, Service Models) from Nike Russia side, leverage best SC practices to initiate the new projects
• Ensure a close integration with the Customer Financial Services on claims and credit management of the account base and together establish an agreed negative sales reduction plan.

Requirements:

Education: 4-year Degree in Economics/Technical. Combination of Technical and Business education is preferred. MBA in Management or Logistics would be a plus.

Experience: 8-10 years in Logistics (management of import operations in Russia is essential, distribution, warehouse operations, certification, ERP systems implementation experience ), Customer Operations and Supply Chain Planning. Experience of management 5+ years. Experience in new projects developments;
Good negotiations skills, innovative approach for tasks resolving are preferred.

Technical: Advanced Microsoft office and Internet user, experience in establishing IT flows to support Supply Chain, Databases implementation, general knowledge of ERP systems (SAP R/3 implementation experience is a plus), knowledge of systems implementation / upgrade principles.

Communication/Language: Excellent communication skills, ability to work on a complex project in the matrix organization. Fluent in Russian/English, both written and spoken.

Other: very good analytical skills, structural approach to the problem solving, multi-tasking, very deep knowledge of customs, transportation and certification legislation in Russia, Russian Civil Law, foreign trade, ability to create the contracts (import, domestic services).
