Job description

MISSION
Define and lead the category strategy and vision for Nike Outlet Stores in Europe in order to guide optimal product assortment, collections and offerings.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic planning and visioning, leadership and team mgt, influence and communication at the category level.
- Develop monthly forecasts of sales and inventory for all basic and fashion styles and develop strategies to meet category financial goals. Own open to buy forecasts.
- Be a key functional team member of the category team with a focus toward achieving business goals.
- Coach, train and develop team.
- Collaborate, partner and influence close-out drops category and business unit teams to drive the overall retail product needs for the category including build strategy.
- Communicate category buying strategies, vision and business results to cross functional retail teams and category teams.
- Participate in monthly business reviews with Allocation and Planning.
- Set and execute promotional strategies in line with achieving business goals.

- Managed a team/ coached and developed employees
- Affinity with the Nike brand
EDUCATION
EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL
- Min 5 years Retail Buying Experience
- Outlet or value retail experience
LANGUAGE
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
